Welcome to Star Events & Wedding Planner (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the event planning and coordination services we provide across Ramnagar, Jim Corbett, and surrounding areas.

By accessing our website or contracting our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Services

• Star Events & Wedding Planner provides full-scale wedding planning, thematic styling, floral setup, venue liaison, vendor management, guest logistics, and event coordination.
• Detailed deliverables, project timelines, and responsibilities for each event are defined in an individualized Service Agreement signed prior to the commencement of work.

2. Booking, Retainers, and Payments

• Booking Confirmation: An event date is officially reserved only upon the receipt of the agreed non-refundable retainer fee and a countersigned Service Agreement.
• Payment Schedule: All milestone payments, vendor deposits, and final balances must be cleared according to the schedule specified in your contract.
• Delayed Payments: Failure to fulfill payments by the due dates may result in the suspension of planning services or the forfeiture of vendor reservations.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Client Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation by the client, any initial booking fees and paid installments are non-refundable, as they cover allocated dates, staff commitments, and preliminary design work.
• Third-Party Vendor Policies: Deposits paid to external vendors (such as resorts, caterers, transport, and artists) are subject directly to the respective third-party vendor’s cancellation policies.
• Rescheduling: Date changes are subject to team and venue availability. Additional charges may apply if rescheduling incurs added vendor costs or seasonal rate revisions.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Clients agree to provide accurate event requirements, guest estimates, and timely design approvals.
• Clients must designate an authorized point of contact with decision-making authority during event execution.
• Final guest headcounts must be communicated within the deadline specified in the Service Agreement to ensure proper catering and seating management.

5. Force Majeure & External Factors

• Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, road blockages, natural disasters, national park/forest department restrictions, strikes, government orders, or civil disruptions.
• In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to adapt logistics or reschedule services in mutual agreement with the client.

6. Intellectual Property & Promotional Use

• All customized event blueprints, 3D setup renders, concepts, and website materials remain the intellectual property of Star Events & Wedding Planner.
• Unless explicitly opted out in writing prior to the event, we reserve the right to photograph or film setups and non-private decor details for portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Star Events acts as an organizer and coordinator. While we carefully select and vet reputable third-party vendors (resorts, sound technicians, florists, transportation providers), we are not directly liable for equipment failure, performance defaults, or service lapses originating from independent external providers.
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of any event contract shall not exceed the total planning fee paid directly to Star Events & Wedding Planner.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any legal proceedings or disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nainital District, Uttarakhand.
